How Guests Consent to Receive Evenfall Messages
Evenfall is used by outdoor guide and outfitter businesses to send their guests a personalized keepsake after a guided outing. Guests do not sign up on Evenfall's own website.
Instead: when a guest books an outing with an outfitter — in person, by phone, or through the outfitter's own booking process — they provide their name and contact information (email and/or mobile number) directly to the outfitter as part of that booking. By providing this information, the guest agrees to receive a follow-up message from the outfitter, sent via Evenfall, containing a link to their personalized outing keepsake and a request to leave a review.
Evenfall's Terms of Service require every outfitter to submit contact information only for guests who have given this consent, and only contact information belonging to an adult (18 or older) or to a parent or legal guardian of a minor guest.
Message frequency: one message per completed outing, occasionally followed by a single reminder a few days later. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. Every keepsake email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link. An opt-out stops Evenfall messages to that contact, including for future outings.
Outfitters: sample consent language for your booking process shows how to build this into the way you already book guests.
