Sample Guest Consent Language for Your Booking Process
Evenfall's Terms require that every guest whose contact information you submit has agreed to receive their keepsake and a follow-up message. The easiest way to make that true — and provable — is to build the consent into your existing booking process. Use whichever of these fits how you book guests. Use your outfit's name, not Evenfall's; the messages come from you.
For an online booking or intake form (checkbox or notice near the contact fields)
By providing your email or mobile number, you agree that [Outfit Name] may send you a follow-up after your outing — a personalized keepsake from your trip and a request to share a review. One message per outing, with at most one reminder. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any text to opt out.
For a paper waiver or booking agreement (near the contact-information section)
I agree that [Outfit Name] may contact me after my outing at the email or mobile number provided, with a keepsake from my trip and a review request. I can opt out at any time.
For phone or in-person bookings (say it naturally)
"After your trip we'll send you a little keepsake — photos and the story of your day — by text or email, along with a link to leave us a review if you enjoyed it. Is this number/email good for that?"
A yes recorded in your booking notes is your record of consent.
Three rules that keep you covered
- Adults only. The contact info you collect and submit must belong to an adult (18+) or to a parent or guardian of a minor guest — never a minor's own number.
- Keep the record. Keep your booking forms, waivers, or notes showing the guest provided their contact info with this notice. If a question ever comes up, that record is your answer.
- Never work around an opt-out. If a guest says stop — by replying STOP, unsubscribing, or just telling you — don't resubmit their contact info on a future trip.
